In Aldudes, you can discover from beginning of october to mid-november a very old and particular way of hunting blue pigeons. It is called ´chasse en pantières´. Using vertical nets, the goal is to catch the pigeons in these nets in a low mountain pass. About 20 people are needed in this hunting which is very spectacular with a low rate of success. |
